Therefore, every room features an individual terrarium, along with many other elements that bring the hotel to life. As the pioneer of eco-luxury, the hotel features several plant art installations, including an incredible ‘living wall’. Stretching 900m across the hotel’s façade, this striking display is home to over 11,000 plants.

ROOMS + BATH

The eco-friendly rooms at 1 Hotel have a distinctly Zen-like appeal. Just as in nature, each room is unique. However, certain features can be guaranteed, such as the polished, driftwood lined walls, triple filtered water system and individual yoga mats. Each room has a raised bed standing atop a giant oak platform. The bed features a hemp blend Keetsa mattress dressed in organic cotton sheets.

The sophistication of Craft Restaurants is brought to the coast at Beachcraft, 1 Hotel Miami’s dual-level dining experience. Run by award-winning chef Tom Colicchio, the kitchen takes centre stage, where locally sourced fish, seafood and vegetables are prepared in style.
